Which Is A Better Running Watch?

I am considering purchasing a new running watch with possibly a heart rate monitor built in and lap timings. I am thinking of the RS100 Polar running watch or the Nike Triax Speed 50 super. Choose one of these or recommend one of your own with reason backup. Best answer will be chosen on the one that has the best reasoning and the watch i like the best. Looking to spend around $150- $300ish. Thanks.

Heart Rate Monitor Selections?

I am looking for a heart rate monitor that does not require the chest strap or requires you to touch the watch with your other hand to get a response. I like the hands off monitoring you get with the chest strap options, but I want to find a heart rate monitor that has this feature but without the chest strap. I ride and spin and do not have the option to reach over with my other hand to touch those contcts as those without chest straps. I do not like having to wear the chest strap. Any one know of a product?

Ok so I hav ea heart rate monitor the one where it comes with a watch and a little belt thing to go around your chest. Its no any kind of name brand I bought it from Fred Meyer’s it was like 30$ or something. so I don’t know how accurate it is. I am 23 5′4″ and weigh 140 lbs. my bmi is 24.1 fat percentage is 36 ish. thoes are just off a website so ? well when I wore the heart rate monitor I jogged at 4.5mph on treamill for 25 min. whith a 4 min warmup walk. the treamill counter said I burned 300 calories but my heart monitor said I burned 500 cal…thats a big difference. Which one is more accurate and why ??
my husband says to just use the lower one to know for sure I’m burning enough but I just want to know what is most accurate..cause 200 cal, thats alot.

Okay, so what I’m looking for is a heart rate monitor that sits on your wrist like a watch. I need it to actively show me my heart rate (accurately) and have a battery that I can change out. Price range ~$50 and the hope that it will not die like many reviews I have read about the $30 Walmart monitors.
